Printed in both sefarim are Novellae and Questions & Answers of the Chasam Sofer - These Novellae and Responsa of the Chasam Sofer were the first that were printed - they were printed without first receiving permission from the Chasam Sofer. The Chasam Sofer writes the following in a letter to the Mahara"tz Chayut: "For a number of years already, some pamphlets have been published with my responsa and novellae, by a Rav...Mordechai Shlank, when he was printing the sefarim of the Ramban on Kiddushin and Rav Y. Migash of Shvuos, he had copies of my novellae and printed them at the end... at first without my permission and in the end, with my agreement..... " (Printed at end of his sefer "Darkei Hora'ah", Zolkowa 5603)
