Minchas Shmuel/Be'er Avraham, First Editions. Sefer Minchas Shmuel on Masseches Brachos, by Rav Shmuel ben Rav Yehoshua Zelig, Av Beis Din of דלהינוב איליה. Includes two parts: Halacha Berura - which takes everything learned in the Gemara and brings it all the way down to the halacha lema'aseh- practical application. Starting from all the Rishonim, and going all the way down to the Shulchan Aruch. Mishna Berura - Which explains everything in the Gemara and in Rashi's and Tosafot's explanations on the Gemara on the Pshat level. Vilna 5602 [1842], First edition . [2] 50 pages. About the author : Rav Shmuel ben Rav Yehoshua Zelig from דלהינוב was a close disciple of Rav Chaim Mivolozhin. He was the Rav of דלהינוב איליה, and in 5610 he made Aliya to Eretz Yisrael. His two sons-in-law were Rav Eliyahu Yehuda Deyches and Rav Eliyahu ben Rav Moshe Stertzler . His only son Dovid Mordechai passed away in his early years, and he became well known by his sefer " Sha'arey Dim'ah" - Prayers to be recited at the Western Wall and at the Holy sites. (D.iM.A.H. is acronym of Dovid Mordechai Alav Hashalom). Passed away on the third of Av, 5618 and is buried on Har Hazeysim, close to the Ohr Hachaim. ******************************************************************************** Sefer Be'er Avraham , on Masseches Brachos and Mo'ed. by Rav Avraham Maskil L'eytan, (5548-5608), one of the great Rabbonim of Minsk, author of "Maskil L'eytan" and "Nachal Eytan". The sefer was brought to press by his son Rav Aharon (in his father's lifetime) and on the last page he printed his Torah Novellae. Vilna, 5604 [1844]. First edition. 36, 24 pages. 34 cm. T he two sefarim are bound together . Worn out binding. Writing in other languages and signatures located on first page opposite binding. In good condition.
