"5 Tafkidim Shel HaKeren HaKayemet LeIsrael" [Hebrew: 5 Roles of the JNF], illustrated poster. "Ahdut" press [Tel-Aviv, late 1930s?]. Design: Otte Wallisch (signed in the plate: "MW" [Atelier Machner-Wallisch], "Wallisch").
Poster on behalf of JNF. Five of the JNF roles are listed on the left - redemption of the land, drying swamps, water supply, forestation, and preparing land for settlement - with information indicating how successful JNF was in fulfilling its roles. On the right appear five illustrations demonstrating the above roles.
63X96.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Folding marks and creases. Tears and open tears, professionally repaired (open tear at lower right corner affecting the printer information). The entire poster is mounted on thin acid-free paper.
