Austrian landscape painter and skier. Attended the artist colony in Dachau and was a student of Hans von Hayek. Lived from 1904 in Mühlau near Innsbruck, founded 1912 Künstlerbund Heimat (later Tiroler Künstlerbund). One of the first "snow painters" in Tyrol, winter landscapes and mountain scenes like Alfons Walde and Max von Esterle. Snow landscapes comparable to Sebastian Isepp.
